Last updated 9 September 2026

Courtside is a tennis app for your phone and Wear OS watch. We keep the data we collect small and boring on purpose. This page explains what we hold, why, and how you stay in control. Courtside is operated by Michal Vondra, Křižíkova 176/27, Prague, Czech Republic, Business ID (IČO) 87343401 — the data controller for everything described here. Reach us any time at info@courtside.cz.

Using Courtside without an account

You can browse schedules, results and live scores without signing in. In that case we only hold an anonymous device record and, if you enable notifications, a push token — never your name or email. You can clear it whenever you like: Settings → My data → Delete my data, no account needed. That erases what we hold for this phone — the matches and players you follow, your draw reminders and your notification history — and leaves the app working. Keep using it and a fresh push token is registered, so alerts still reach you.

What we collect and why

Legal basis (GDPR)

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a small set of processors to run the app:

Match schedules, draws and scores come from the tours' own public sources. We fetch them ourselves — nobody on that side receives any of your personal data.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can, at any time:

If you're in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Courtside isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for anything material, let you know in the app.
